Holiday Road Trip to NYC for some Holiday windows and lights!
Winter Village in Bryant Park
Bryant Park had a European Style Christmas Village... Rusty scored some delicious food that we can't remember name of and could not pronounce when looking at menu....
Windows at Saks Fifth Avenue
Saks has a theme of "Greatness is Everywhere" which we loved. The large draw for their windows was the Frozen 2 displays...but their other windows were so clever and cool. I couldn't really capture the" cave" themed windows because of glare...but Saks did not disappoint!

Louis Vuitton
I was only one to think this was cool.. very eye catching!

COACH
Coach had a dinosaur made of Coach bags in its store:

Bergdorf Goodman
Bergdorf Goodman was the hands down favorite! If time allowed, we could have spent hours looking for the fun, intricate details in their " Good Times" themed display!
Walking about NYC...
Lots to see walking around the city..."Show" Globes at Times Square, Lights, decorations and lots and lots of people.
Times Square "SHOW" Globes
Giant Broadway themed "Show" Globes were beautifully done! Wish they would have done one for ELF!
Hard Rock Cafe
Shady Santa at the Hard Rock! Festive Coolness....

NYC Winter Lantern Festival
We had a great time at the NYC Winter Lantern Festival at Staten Island’s Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden. Only in its 2nd Year - we are sure this will continue to grow into a must see annual event. 36 different lighted "lantern" displays spread across 8 acres of the Snug Harbor Botanical Garden ( a site we intend to check out again in Spring/Summer- property looks gorgeous). Also had Chinese cultural shows throughout evening. If you have the opportunity ...go! We all loved it! https://www.nycwinterlanternfestival.com/
Some of the Lanterns:
Bian Lian
We were treated to a Bian Lian performance. (The Chinese art/ dance of mask changing)
Metropolitan Museum of Art ( at Fifth)
Would love to have days instead of hours to spend here! Awesome ...what a treasure we are privileged to have access to so, so many beautiful exhibits!
Main Hall
I loved this sculpture...it shows St. Joseph drying Baby Jesus' clothes over the fire. My Mom...loved St. Joseph and she would have so appreciated this depiction!

The following are pictures I asked Rusty " Why can't we have one of these in our house?" ...Future Rusty projects maybe?
