On our way to everywhere!

We are heading off on our cross country trip to check out the Wild Wild West! The first slog of the trip is to get to Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming- it will take us 4 days to get there.

Brandywine Falls, OH

We stopped to picnic and take a hike at Brandywine Falls in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. https://www.nps.gov/cuva/learn/historyculture/brandywine-falls.htm

We did the Brandywine Gorge Trail. There is a boardwalk with steps that take you down the gorge to the base of the falls or view from the side. We were so glad we went down- it's much prettier view in my opinion.

The park was super pretty with fall colors emerging and the sandstone was cool to explore. Nice midway stop to stretch your legs.

We read the Ohio is known for "buckeye candy" so "when in Rome".... we found a cute little homemade candy store that made for a "sweet" afternoon ride. Good times, Ohio!

Elkhart, Indiana

We stopped for the night in Elkhart, Indiana. We had a nice outdoor dinner at Brass Elk Brewing https://www.brasselkbrewing.com/

We had enjoyed a " traditional smash burger" and some of their local beer on their patio along the river. Restaurant right next to the " River Walk " so we could walk off some of the ("no regrets") smash burger calories!
