Seneca Creek /Clopper Lake

An unusually nice and sunny January day gave us the opportunity to explore Seneca Creek State Park. https://dnr.maryland.gov/publiclands/Pages/central/seneca.aspx

We did the Lake Shore Trail ( 3.7 mile) - an easy, relatively flat trail that loops around Clopper Lake. https://dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/Pages/hotspots/clopper.aspx

We saw several Eastern Bluebirds - beautiful color against the winter gray! Did not get a good shot but this is what they look like- so cute! https://dnr.maryland.gov/wildlife/Pages/habitat/wabluebird.aspx

We also saw lots of work from very ambitious beavers !
