This sign was at our last official stop at the French Camp

We were hoping we could socially distance on the road...realigning adventures to individual outdoor adventures...literally only coming into contact with a handful of people. Most of our time would be Rusty and me in our own little home away from home on 4 wheels. Naively, we did not foresee the closing of National Parks, Restaurants and issuance of quarantine and Shelter in Place edicts ( which we support to strengthen public health). We didn't consider we might unintentionally add to the spread of the virus and potential strain on health systems adding to the burden of those already overtaxed in the virus containment and healing of those suffering.
Thinking upon these things and the road ahead of all of us with the Coronavirus- we made the very EASY decision to go home, quarantine in place, and try again next year! Third time is a charm right?

HOME SWEET HOME
We had an absolutely wonderful Adventure and we were so touched by the beautiful places, music, food and people that were to be encountered everywhere. We want to go home and look for ways to help and not further burden those trying to combat this crazy illness.

Bottom line-
In the wake of the Coronavirus devastation-we are #1 grateful to be healthy and going home to our healthy kids and grands. We don't take that for granted 1 second.
#2 -If we have to be sheltered in place...there is no other place we would rather be or person we would rather be with. We plan to " Gallivant in place"! 🥰
Wishing all our friends and family good health and good cheer!

Great pictures glad you had a good time and the third time will be a charm
